Import improvements
Default folder is set during import
RefWorks now remembers most recently selected folder(s) during import and automatically sets them as the default for future imports. This eliminates the need to repeatedly browse through folders during each import. Destination folders can still be changed at any time during the import process.
Search folders during import
Quickly find and select folders during the import process using a built-in search feature. This enhancement makes it easier to manage large folder lists and streamline your workflow. Clear all selected folders at once using the “Clear selection” option.
Folder Notes for Better Organization & Collaboration
Folder notes can now be added to folders, making it easier to capture context, organize information, and share insights with collaborators. Folder notes are visible when sharing folders, including via Public URLs.
Folder notes are included in search and appear in search results.

- Fixed an issue where renaming an institutionally shared folder could cause the folder to become inaccessible or lead to errors for users.
- Fixed an issue where Admin reports for Reference Added and Accounts Created reports failed to download for some admins.
