Databases search is a search process that uses the Z39.50 protocol. This protocol returns search results from publicly available databases or library catalogs that can be accessed from within RefWorks.
Commercial and subscription databases are not included in this list.
Z39.50 (z3950) is a protocol. It is also a NISO standard, developed by the library community and used to create a client application that allows users to search and retrieve records within a bibliographic database
This search can produce different results vs. search performed from the catalog or database native interface, and is not intended to replace search in native interface.
