Sharing settings for each Project must be configured one at a time. Sharing a Project shares all Folders and sub-folders.
Projects can be shared with other RefWorks users, which grants ownership of the Project and its contents.
Project sharee receives full permissions to entire Project, including adding, deleting, and modifying folders and references.
All owners of the project can delete the Project, as long as it is not the current project of any owner.
Sharing a project enables users to work collaboratively with other Project owners. When writing a document using RefWorks Citation Manager (RCM) in Microsoft Word, citations from the shared project can be emailed between users to which each owner can contribute. Each collaborator works on the document separately can send the document to other owners for further work, rather than multiple users simultaneously editing the document.
Reference IDs within a project are unique. Therefore, when a reference is added to a shared project, it may receive a Ref ID that is not consecutive to the last Ref ID of a reference created by another owner.
