This one-time process is required to be completed by user when the institution changes the SSO configuration due to a server change or migration.
Existing RefWorks accounts can be linked to SSO credentials at any time.
Linking steps:
- On the RefWorks login page, click on "Use login from my institution"
- Scroll through the list, or search for institution name

Click on institution name
Use login from my institution dropdown - Type in account email
- Depending on whether RefWorks account is set up, choose one option:
- New user: RefWorks automatically creates a RefWorks account, and links institution's SSO key; authentication is complete
- Existing user, RefWorks automatically sends and email to the email address entered
- In the email click the link to reassociate login credentials.
- Automatic redirection to RefWorks page authentication is complete
