Create bibliographies and citations to copy and paste
Use RefWorks Citation Manager (RCM) to add and manage document's references while working in Microsoft Word or Google Docs. See Using RefWorks Citation Manager.
Select references (or select none to use all references) and click Create Bibliography under Bibliography on the References and Tools Actions menu.
Optionally select to All references or change citation style. By default, bibliography appears in the last style used.
Search to find the style name.
There are four available drop-down lists to help find styles:
Favorite styles - styles marked as favorite
Recent styles - recently used styles
Mine - custom created styles
Institutional styles - styles created by institutional Admin, if configured
Styles can be designated as Favorite by clicking on the star icon to the left of the style.
To remove a favorite from the list, click on the star icon. The style is removed from the Favorites list when RefWorks is refreshed.
Click on Copy to Clipboard and paste it into document.
Bibliography numbering and sorting is limited to 2000 references when using RefWorks citation styles. CSL styles numbering and sorting is limited to 500 references. After the limit is reached, numbering and sorting restarts.
Create one or more in-text citations (with or without a bibliography).
Click Quick Cite under Bibliography on the References and Tools Actions menu.
Search and select a citation style and click Continue....
If numbered style is required, create citations and a bibliography within Word or Google Docs. Using Quick Cite, numbers must be entered or corrected manually in document.
